The house and location were perfect. The house was great for us. It easily accommodated us: a few couples with infants/toddlers. Sherie made sure we were comfortable and communicated very well. Check in/check out were a breeze. Would definitely come back

Great host, amazing place to stay for multiple people, 20-30 minutes away from Traverse City and all the highlights around TC (Sutton’s Bay, Leland, Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear, Empire, etc). Long Lake is clean, fairly quiet for a large lake, swimmable, and lots of beach/water activities at the house to do. Fire pit was a staple for our stay. Would definitely recommend for a large group of adults with kids and we will be staying here again in the future.

The home was beautiful and we enjoyed the beach and the lake. It is right next to a boat ramp so we kept a close eye on the kiddos and dogs, but it really didn’t disrupt our activities. Overall, a very nice stay over the 4th of July!

The area is peaceful and beautiful. The home had plenty of amenities, from kayaks, a hot tub, basketball hoop, games, parking, etc. It is a perfect place for a family get together. We are outdoor people who took full advantage of the swimming beaches nearby, hiking and biking. Sheri was a great host. Highly recommend!

Our open and spacious living area features panoramic windows that bring the outdoors in, giving you an unbeatable view of Long Lake. Cozy up around the gas fireplace after a day of outdoor adventure or settle in for a movie night with the family. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances, perfect for preparing delicious meals to enjoy with family and friends. We do provide basic condiments for you to prepare your meals including olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and some basic spices. We have a Keurig machine, a Nespresso and drip coffee. We even have a dedicated chef’s closet stocked with all the gadgets you could need, including a crockpot, smoothie blender, immersion blender, handheld mixer, and an electric griddle. Kids love our soda maker and our shaved ice machine is a huge hit with our younger guests. Our dining table seats 10-12 persons.
Traveling with kids? We’ve got you covered! The kids’ bedroom is a play haven with a Nex playground video game console, a Meta Quest 2 VR system for immersive gaming, and plenty of board games for everyone to enjoy. We also provide a crib, Pack n Play, high chair, and child-friendly plates and utensils to make your stay as easy and stress-free as possible.
The main level features a king bedroom with a bath room in the hallway. Upstairs you’ll find one additional king and two queen bedrooms, as well as a kid-friendly room with three pull out twin beds and a queen daybed. For ultimate comfort, we provide toiletries, bedding and towels, so you have an easy time packing for your stay.
With a prime location just 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City, you’re never far from restaurants, unique shops, and local attractions. Whether you’re biking the Tart Trail, exploring the wineries, or visiting Moomers Ice Cream, everything you need for a perfect vacation is within reach.
